Established in 1913 in Seattle, Washington, we are an international women’s fraternal organization committed to fostering social and intellectual opportunities. For more than 112 years and still rich in tradition, our forward-thinking women come together in fellowship, but also in service and support of our philanthropy – Shriners Hospitals for Children®. Since our first donation over 100 years ago, the Daughters of the Nile Foundations in both the United States and Canada have contributed over $77 million dollars to this cause. Also, because Shriners Children’s® holds a special place in our hearts, we volunteer our time and talents.
