Established with a noble purpose in 1913, we are a fraternal organization of women committed to fostering social and intellectual enrichment. For more than 111 years we have come together in fellowship and cultivated lifelong friendships.
Our dedicated group of forward-thinking women who strive to make a positive impact by prioritizing service to others and supporting our philanthropy, the wonderful children of Shriners Hospitals for Children®. This year we celebrate 100 years of supporting Shriners Children’s. Through our Daughters of the Nile Foundation and Daughters of the Nile Canadian Foundation, our organization has contributed over $74 Million dollars to this meaningful cause, which holds a special place in our hearts.

The Daughters of the Nile stands as an international fraternal organization with a strong commitment to enriching the lives of women across all age groups. Our primary focus lies in fostering lifelong friendships, cultivating character, promoting intellectual growth, embracing a sense of service towards others, and upholding a belief in a Supreme Being.
To achieve our mission, the Daughters of the Nile holds meaningful ritualistic ceremonies that instill values and purpose. Additionally, we actively support and promote the Supreme Temple and Subordinate Temples, ensuring their continued success. We further contribute to the Daughters of the Nile Foundation and the Canadian Foundation, both dedicated to benefiting Shriners Children’s™, thereby extending our support to those in need.
At our core, we are devoted to nurturing the belief in the Fatherhood of God and the Sisterhood of Women, fostering unity among our members. Our unwavering commitment to service remains a cornerstone of our organization, driving us to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
