Each One Reach One

I know we’ve been hearing about loss of membership for several years. We’ve seen the nails in the coffin. We’ve heard and read everything that comes our way.

What if you could reach just one person, and so could your friend, and so could your Queen, and every member in your Temple? That would make an awesome impact on membership in Daughters of the Nile.

What have you done lately to recruit members to our Order, members that will be active and make a real difference? We all have JAMs (Just A Member) and if those JAMs attend your sessions and participate in your activities and are productive, they are valuable members.

There are JAMs on our membership rolls. Maybe Susan has been a member for 40 years, lives in a personal care facility, and cannot attend. But have you reached out to her lately? She may have a sister, sister-in-law, niece, cousin, daughter, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, or granddaughter-in-law who is eligible for membership because Susan is a member. Would you know that if you didn’t visit with Susan or reach out to her? Perhaps not.

I offer a challenge here: reach out to one person about membership. Then you can challenge someone else to reach out. If each one of us is successful in gaining a new member, if each one reaches one, we can grow our membership.
